The profession’s priorities for education

As we look towards a general election, education organisations are united in the hope that a new government will address key issues to improve education for children and young people, and for the profession.

Those organisations have set out their analyses of the problems, identified their priorities, and developed proposals for change in their manifestos. To help policy-makers to engage quickly and meaningfully with the profession, we are bringing together those manifestos in one place.

This page will be regularly updated throughout the election period. If your organisation has an education manifesto that isn’t listed, please contact: press@chartered.college

You can find out what the keys asks from the Chartered College of Teaching members in our recent blog article [here], and also read what we think the general election can mean for the future of education [here].
