Collaborative partnership with BeReady

We are delighted to announce a new partnership with BeReady to help address some of the sector’s most pressing challenges: recruitment, retention and career progression.

Strengthening professional development across the workforce

Through this partnership, educators working with BeReady will be able to access a discounted first year of Chartered College of Teaching membership and new professional development opportunities. This creates a direct link between BeReady’s workforce development programmes and our professional learning community, resources and evidence-informed practice.

BeReady delivers fully funded, bespoke development programmes across education and other sectors, helping organisations attract, develop and retain talent. Its career pathway offers support to professionals at all stages, from teaching assistants and early years practitioners through to specialist roles and those exploring routes into teaching.

The Chartered College of Teaching supports educators and leaders through membership, accreditation, professional learning and access to research and evidence. This partnership extends that offer to a broader network of educators engaged with BeReady’s programmes.

A shared commitment to sustainable workforce development

We are aligned in recognising the urgency of building a more sustainable and supported education workforce. By combining BeReady’s practical, funded training solutions with our focus on evidence-informed professional learning and professional recognition, this partnership aims to create more coherent development journeys for educators.

Together with BeReady, we will explore opportunities to:

  • Strengthen access to professional learning and membership in the teaching profession
  • Support career-long development across education roles
  • Help schools, trusts and providers build more sustainable workforce pathways
  • Voices from the partnership

Kyle Burrows, Chief Learning Officer at BeReady, said:

“We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Chartered College of Teaching. At BeReady, our focus is on helping education organisations develop the people and pathways they need to flourish. This partnership supports that by giving educators access to a respected professional body, high-quality evidence-informed resources and a wider community committed to improving teaching and learning.”

Jonny Goggs, Associate Director of Partnership, Chartered College of Teaching, added:

“The Chartered College of Teaching is pleased to collaborate with BeReady in support of our shared commitment to professional learning, career progression and a stronger education workforce. By working together, we can help more educators connect with evidence-informed practice, professional recognition and opportunities that support their development throughout their careers.”

The discounted first-year membership provides access to:

  1. A professional network of educators and leaders
  2. Research-informed resources and evidence summaries
  3. Professional learning designed to support classroom practice and leadership development
  4. Opportunities for recognition and ongoing career development
  5. Looking ahead

By working collaboratively with BeReady, we aim to support education settings in building confident, capable and future-ready teams, and strengthen the conditions in which educators can thrive throughout their careers.
