Chartered Status is a professional learning and accreditation pathway supporting career-long development.
For individuals who are currently enrolled in a course or programme designed for teacher training, whether at a university or through a school-based route.

Our statement following the attack at a Manchester synagogue on Yom Kippur. 
From today, members of the Montessori Global Education Network mentoring programme can  join the Chartered College of Teaching at no additional cost, giving access to the Early Childhood  Hub and its high-quality professional development resources for early years practitioners. 
After listening to our community, we've made the decision to step away from X (formerly Twitter). 88% of our members told us the platform no longer reflects the values of professional educators, citing concerns about hate speech, misinformation, and toxic environments that stifle meaningful dialogue. While we've maintained a reduced presence to support colleagues still on the platform, it's become clear that X is no longer a space where we can effectively serve our community or uphold our commitment to evidence-based practice and respectful discourse.
Looking back, the path leading up to today has been anything but linear and I am grateful for that. I have learned that the aim of life is not to reach a destination, but to embrace the journey by learning and evoking positive change along the way.  My journey with teaching began in the UK, where I worked across a wide range of settings as a teaching assistant while I completed my first degree in Psychology at Brunel University.
