About our Projects and Consultancy

Funded projects allow the Chartered College of Teaching to develop new content for members and the wider teaching community and contribute to the sector’s understanding of effective approaches to teacher professional development.

Our work with funding partners also contributes to the organisation’s financial growth and stability. Over the years, the team’s expertise has grown across a number of areas, including but not limited to:

  • teacher professional development
  • evidence-informed practice
  • teacher professionalism
  • teacher wellbeing and job satisfaction
  • teacher recruitment and retention
  • education technology
  • equity, diversity and inclusion in schools
  • curriculum design and implementation.
The opportunities to be part of a wider community of education professionals offered by these kinds of projects are an important part of Chartered College membership for me.

  • consultancy for education authorities in Jersey on effective approaches to teacher development
  • evaluation of STEM Learning’s Science CPD programme
  • evaluation of blended CPDL in cohort 4 of the PHF Teacher Development fund
