Windows into the Classoom

Windows into the Classroom is space for teachers to write about the innovative teaching and learning strategies they have tried in their classroom. This allows colleagues across the country to learn from and share practice with each other. Every feature includes teachers talking about what they did and why, with examples of student work and other resources.

Research digest and reviews

This section brings cutting-edge research to practitioners. Research digests give teachers and leaders easy-to-understand breakdowns of academic papers so everyone can benefit from evidence – and what it might mean in your context. Research reviews are much more in-depth and make for challenging, academic reads and critiques of studies.

Education experts answer members’ questions

Members Meet… is a video series that puts our members questions to education leaders and experts. Giving teachers a voice in the system is an important part of our work – these interviews allow us to bridge the gap between our members and system leaders.

CPD-related book reviews

Our thriving book reviews section asks teachers to share their thoughts about professional books they have read and loved, and how it has influenced their practice.

University of Bristol document summaries

A one-stop source providing condensed overviews of key educational documents. The service provides monthly summaries of education policy documents and research, including publications from the DfE, NFER, Ofsted, The Sutton Trust, EEF, UCAS and more.

Education and research database

Our education and research database provides our members with the world’s largest and most complete collection of full-text education journals, magazines and papers.
