Understanding anxiety and supporting anxious learners
February 5 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
10% of school children have a diagnosable mental illness. 1 in 6 of us will experience an anxiety condition at some point in our lives. Consequently, raising awareness of mental health is crucial.
This practical session on understanding anxiety and supporting anxious learners will be delivered by Clare Laker from the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust. The session will include evidence-based information about young people’s mental health, practical tools on how to support positive wellbeing, and how to seek help. This meeting will motivate, inform and provide practical tools that can be easily implemented. There will also be plenty of time for networking, discussion and sharing of best practice.
Non-members: £5.00 + booking fee
