Teaching Assistant Twilight Forum: Early Years
December 3 @ 3:45 pm - 5:15 pm
The University of Cambridge Primary School Network will be delivering their Early Years 2018/19 Twilight Teaching Assistant Forum over 3 sessions, featuring guest speaker: Penny Coltman.
Penny Coltman’s career in early years education has been broad, ranging from teaching, freelance consulting and training early years teachers. She has written widely for a number of educational publishers. Her personal interests include self-regulation in young children and playful learning.
During the first session, Penny will share her knowledge of the types of play, how to facilitate child-led play and strategies which support self-regulation.
The second session will be a chance to share with Penny and others your own observations, findings and questions from your own setting.
Session three, James Hayward will provide Early Years assessment guidance. James is one of our Assistant Head Teachers at the University Primary School. He has previously been a key stage one moderator and successfully manages our outstanding early years classrooms at UCPS.
This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with other colleagues and to work with a highly regarded expert. We hope that you would like to be part of the conversation.
This is a free event, please share widely with colleagues.
