South East SEND Network Launch Event

We are delighted to invite you to the first meeting of the South East England SEND Network (SE SEND) in conjunction with the Chartered College of Teaching, on Thursday, 20th September, 2018.
The objective of the SE SEND is to link together schools, colleges, HE, local authority professionals and others with experience in SEND to promote and share evidence-based practice.
We are delighted that Professor Sarah Parsons from Southampton University has agreed to open our launch event by sharing some of her current research.
15.30 – Arrive/Coffees and Teas – you will be welcomed and provided with refreshments by a team of our learners

17.10 – Refreshments provided by our learners who work in our Scrummies Café
17.40 – Sharing Good Practice: Promoting positive behaviour planning (St. John’s)
18.00 – Business meeting to plan the work of the network during 2018/19 and beyond. St. John’s will provide a draft paper to initiate discussion.
19.00 – Closing remarks
