These two sessions by the Chartered College’s University of Cambridge Primary School Network aim to introduce you to the Therapeutic Approach to behaviour management and equip with you the confidence to:
- Frame difficult behaviour differently
- Manage escalating behaviour
- Respond to children in crisis

Ash Smith is the Assistant Headteacher at the University of Cambridge Primary School and is the lead on behaviour in school. He is also the designated person for safeguarding and for post LAC children. He is a qualified therapeutic behaviour management trainer and is passionate about this aspect of school life.
Lysandra Sinclair-Harding is a specialist SEND teach from SEND services who works closely with Ash in his role. Lysandra is also a trainer in the therapeutic approach and has a wealth of experience across many settings. Having worked with this approach with many children, Lysandra is a proud advocate for managing behaviour therapeutically.
