The UK’s first National Festival of Specialist Learning will provide speakers, workshops, forums and a range of activities – bringing together young people, parents and professionals to debate, challenge, learn and to look for solutions to current issues facing young people with disabilities in specialist learning.

FestABLE will cover a broad range of topics including: the future of speech and language therapy, advances in augmentative and alternative communication technology, reviewing the Children and Families Act, and building a SEN workforce.
Throughout the day, there will be multiple parallel workshops and speaker sessions. There will be a dedicated student voice section where young people can have their say on the issues which affect them. There are workshops and sessions suitable for parents, professionals and young people.
Enjoy the Festival Village providing activities, food and music. Take part in art and theatre sessions, music therapy workshops and have a chance to ride in a wheelchair accessible hot air balloon.
