Annual General Meeting 2019

Join us at the Chartered College of Teaching’s Annual General Meeting on Saturday 30th November from 14.30 – 18.00.
Our Chief Executive, Professor Dame Alison Peacock, looks forward to welcoming you to this meeting. You will hear an overview of our activities by our President Stephen Munday FCCT, looking at the highlights and challenges of the year gone by and future plans, with an update from our Treasurer, Marcus Richards.
The AGM will also feature the election of six members to the Council, whom you can meet and greet and a Q&A session with our President, CEO and members of the Council.
We are also delighted to have speeches from Megan Dixon, Regional Delivery Lead, North West, Education Endowment Foundation, and Russell Hobby, CEO, Teach First.
Members and Fellows of the chartered college are also entitled to wear robes that reflect their membership status. Members and Fellows that book will receive a link to purchase/hire their gowns in the confirmation email sent after booking. Alternatively, you are also welcome to wear smart attire or the academic dress from your alma mater or another education establishment.
Places are available to all paying Members and Fellows of the Chartered College only.

There is no parking allocated for guests. The venue is accessible by public transport.
Are childcare facilities available?
Although we cannot provide childcare facilities, the Chartered College of Teaching is committed to inclusive practice and is keen to remove barriers for our parent-teacher members. Babies and children are welcome to attend this event with their parents or carers. When attending events with your babies or children, we ask that you are mindful of others’ event experience.
