Professor Dame Alison Peacock, Chief Executive of the Chartered College of Teaching, has written for Schools Week refelecting on the professional body’s work over the past two and a half years.
The article looks at the Chartered College’s achievements to to date and its plans for the future. This includes its work to further grow membership, drive to becoming self-sufficient and celebrating the work of our fantastic teachers.
I am determined to reach a point where we have at least one member as an advocate in every single school in the country. It is a marathon but one which we will achieve. In the coming months, we will also be launching our ten-year strategy which will set out in more detail our work to grow and strengthen the profession
