Shape the #FutureOfTeaching! Stand for election to the Chartered College of Teaching’s Council.

Members and Fellows are encouraged to stand for election and play an active role in the Chartered College of Teaching during one of the most important periods of the profession’s history.

With the impact of COVID-19 expected to have long-term impacts on education, the Council will work closely with the Chartered College to develop its strategy as we support our fantastic teachers to shape the future of their profession and deliver first-class education.

For the 2020 Council elections, there are six Council Member positions up for election. The results will be announced at the Chartered College of Teaching’s Annual General Meeting on Saturday 7th November.

The Chartered College particularly welcomes nominations from BAMER (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee), LGBT and disabled communities as part of the Chartered College’s work to improve representation from these backgrounds.
