Introducing the EdTech special issue of Impact

INTRODUCING THE EDTECH SPECIAL ISSUE OF IMPACT

Education technology can make a difference in the classroom.  When it’s used right, it can support teachers in using effective approaches to pedagogy and assessment.

However, despite schools spending an estimated £900m on technology, its use in schools is far from consistent or efficient in terms of workload. In addition, education technology does not always draw on the best available research evidence on how it can be used.

At the Chartered College of Teaching we believe that edtech should be driven by the needs of the classroom, not the other way around. EdTech needs to support your impact in the classroom.

Introducing the EdTech special issue of Impact. Over 90 pages of innovative insight, research and learning to support your use of education technology.
